Cerejas

Lembrar este poema...
Funeral Blues

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He is Dead.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

The End of the World - Vonda Shepard

Escolhi a versão da Vonda Shepard ( Ally McBeal ). O original é desta senhora.

Why does the sun go on shining? Why does the sea rush to shore? Don't they know its the end of the world cause you don't love me anymore? Why do the birds go on singing? Why do the stars glow above? Don't they know it's the end of the world? It ended when I lost your love. I wake up in the morning and I wonder why everything is the same as it was. I can't understand, no I can't understand, how life goes on the way it does... Why does my heart go on beating? Why do these eyes of mine cry? Don't they know know it's the end of the world?It ended when you said goodbye.

Há montes de tempo que não lia este poema, gosto muito desde que vi o filme.(Apesar de ser negríssimo!)
Aliás, este post de optimista e alegre não tem nada! Lol!
Espero que posts mais bem dispostos se sigam!
